Halloween is fast approaching, and who says Halloween is just for the kids! We’ve got three fantastic boozy cocktails for you and your friends to enjoy, whether you are having a party or a night in with a horror film.
Vampire’s Kiss
If you are looking for a simple and sophisticated take on a Halloween cocktail, then Vampire’s Kiss is for you. Just three ingredients and some red sugar make this cocktail simple to make without compromising on the ‘wow-factor’.
Ingredients for 1 cocktail:
Chill your Martini glass in the fridge whilst you shake up the vodka, ice and raspberry liqueur. Dip the rim of your glass into some cold water, then into the red sugar. Pour your cocktail into the glass and top with champagne, add a raspberry for garnish and serve.
Blood Orange Negroni
This Halloween take on a classic cocktail is a guaranteed crowd pleaser. If you can’t get hold of any fresh blood orange, adding a splash of blood orange juice will do the trick!
Ingredients for 1 cocktail:
Grab your cocktail shaker and add ice, gin, Campari and Vermouth. Shake, strain and serve in a short tumbler. Garnish with a slice of blood orange or a twirl of blood orange peel. If you can’t get hold of fresh blood orange, add a splash to your negroni in the shaker.
Zombie
It’s only right to include a classic Zombie on our Halloween cocktails list, perhaps the booziest cocktail on our list, sure to please your party guests.
Ingredients for 1 cocktail:
Pour the pineapple juice, rums and lime juice into a shaker and shake with ice. Strain the cocktail into a glass and slowly pour in the grenadine to add a splash of colour to the drink. Garnish with an orange wedge, cherry and mint, pop in a straw and serve.
